En su reporte final sobre el World Trade Center 7, [1]<\/a> emitido en noviembre de 2008, el Instituto Nacional de Est\u00e1ndares y Tecnolog\u00eda finalmente admiti\u00f3 que el World Trade Center 7 hab\u00eda entrado en ca\u00edda libre por m\u00e1s de 2 segundos. Sin embargo, siguieron afirmando que el World Trade Center 7 se derrumb\u00f3 a causa del incendio, y sin la ayuda de explosivos.<\/p>\n

This version of the document, which was posted at NIST’s website at the time its Draft version of its WTC 7 report was published, has been replaced by a version that was updated September 17, 2010<\/a>, in which NIST continues to acknowledge a 2.25-second stage of \u201cgravitational acceleration [free fall]\u201d.\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

\nSunder said: \u201cA free fall time would be [the fall time of] an object that has no structural components below it. … The … time that it took … for those 17 floors to disappear [was roughly 40 percent longer than free fall].
